Please visit our new environmental section, for information on our efforts to protect species being threatened by human activities.

My Fat Fox is a small indie publishing company based in London UK, and with roots in the US. We aim to make the work of new and talented authors and artists available to everyone. We are also committed to helping to protect the species we share this beautiful planet with, so we have decided to donate a proportion of the profits from the sale of some of our products to conservation groups.

We are constantly working on preparing new books for publication, so please check back from time to time. Some books in the pipeline include another colouring book featuring endangered animals in Costa Rica and three books of visualizations and other psychotherapeutic techniques from certified hypnotherapist Karin Hoppe Holloway, to be followed by audio versions.

A note on spelling: since we have roots in both the US and the UK some of our books use British English spelling and some use US spelling, depending on the preference of the author/artist.

Hedgehogs in the UK are under threat; it is thought that the population has declined by 25% over the past decade and fewer than a million remain.

Please support Alan the Hedgehog, who is helping to protect hedgehogs in the UK.

Talented young artist Jay Manchand has made ink drawings of 12 endangered species of frogs that can be coloured using pencils, crayons or watercolour. For as long as he can remember, Jay Manchand has had a passion for reptiles and amphibians. His mother would often find him sitting in her pond playing with frogs. Also a keen artist, he has learned to transfer that passion onto paper and canvas. Jay hopes to use his acute attention to detail to encourage others to see the astonishing beauty and intrigue of these underdogs of the animal kingdom.

Hartmut Jager has lived and worked in Europe, Africa and Australia. This is reflected in the great variety of themes and styles in his work.

Color and Save the Ocean

This colouring book includes twelve drawings of endangered ocean species to colour, and includes information about them and lists conservation groups that are working to prevent their extinction. Artist and author Karin Hoppe Holloway writes:

"The Ocean is the source and base of all life on our planet. There may be 50 million Ocean species. They depend on each other and we depend on them. Many of these Ocean species are endangered from our activities. Being endangered can be fixed if we work at it; extinction is final, there is no going back. I hope coloring these endangered Ocean animals will help you to care about them and to love them as I do."

Angel On Vacation

When 13-year-old Nicholai took a long train journey with his hypnotherapist mother, she asked him to relax and tell her about the pictures in his head, and recorded the results. What emerged in this and subsequent sessions was an extraordinarily coherent account of an angel taking a vacation on Earth as a human.

Either Nicholai has a very remarkable imagination, or this really is an account of a working angel's existence. Either way it is a very entertaining account; moving in parts, sometimes thought-provoking, often very funny.

About Us

We live in London, in the UK, and have become fascinated by and attached to our local urban foxes. When we first made their acquaintance they were scraggy, mangy, sorry-looking creatures. A few years of feeding them chicken scraps from our local butcher has left them bright-eyed and bushy-tailed.

Our business venture helps to keep us and our vulpine friends fat and happy.
